Darlene O’Gara

National Training Manager

Darlene has been a professional trainer for over 15 years working for some of the biggest brands in Australia including Australian Skin Clinics, Guinot and Elemis. Darlene joined Australian Skin Clinics in 2007 as Clinic Manager at the Ashmore Practice, where she was quickly promoted to the role of trainer as the company grew, delivering training in the disciplines of management, leadership, sales, customer service and practical aesthetic treatments. Darlene’s diverse skill base includes a vast knowledge of cosmetic ingredients which gives her a heightened understanding of how treatments effect the layers of the skin. Darlene’s passion for the industry and her amazing training skills meant that she was the ideal candidate for the role of National Training Manager at The Advanced Skills Academy. She is a foundation team member who was a crucial member of the companies development team, working tirelessly to build training and course structures that are more interactive, interesting and exciting than those currently available. A wealth of knowledge, Darlene delivers a training program full of passion and possesses a smile so infectious, it is hard not to enjoy your learning experience.

Dr Adam Cho

Head Medical Director / Cosmetic Injectables and Facial Anatomy Trainer

Dr Adam Cho is a highly skilled and experienced Cosmetic Doctor who is greatly respected in the Medi-aesthetic industry as one of the finest cosmetic injectors, with his ability to combine an artistic eye and an advanced skill set.  

Dr Cho holds a BsC (Med), MBBS (UNSW), Diploma in Surgical Anatomy (USYD) and is a member of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery, and continues to stay up to date with all of the latest non-surgical techniques by regularly attending workshops worldwide. 

Dr Cho commonly educates other doctors and nurses on various cosmetic procedures, serving as a mentor for cosmetic clinicians across Australia. 

Having been in the industry performing  anti-wrinkle relaxants, dermal fillers and botox on over 30,000 people, Dr Cho has learnt the best techniques and advanced skills, passing his vast knowledge on to the students he teaches.  

Fay Abousleiman

Student Skills Clinic Manager / Trainer

Fay crossed the big blue sea from UK, landing in Australia in 2013. Fay has had extensive experience in management within the beauty and aesthetic sectors working with UK’s leading dermal and laser provider for many years managing multiple clinic sites and achieving exceptional performance and clinic growth.

A proven leader in her field, Fay was snapped up by one of Australia’s leading dermal and laser provders, Australian Skin Clinics who quickly saw her high level of skills and expertise, inviting her to join their professional team of trainers. Fay has continued growing her skills base with a range of professional learning and has been working with The Advanced Skills Academy since its foundation.

Erin Green

Trainer / Assessor

Erin competed her Advanced Diploma in Health and Skincare in South Africa, where she then went on to specialise in Spa Therapy, Management and Clinical Skincare.

After moving to Brisbane in 2011, Erin was excited to start her career as a dermal and laser technician where she could apply the skills and knowledge she acquired through her studies in a practical setting.

Fast forward to today, and Erin has gained over 5 years’ experience in the industry, enabling her to become well versed in the treatment and training of laser hair reduction, facial rejuvenation, superficial vascular lesions, and tattoo removal. Her hands on involvement operating a wide range of laser devices from different manufactures has provided her with a thorough knowledge of the medical and aesthetic laser procedures.

Erin has a strong passion for teaching and her role as Trainer/Assessor at the Advanced Skills Academy enables her to share her knowledge with her students.

Casey Williams

Trainer / Assessor

Casey is our newest team member and comes with a vast range of qualifications and industry knowledge.  Casey has been happily working in the Medi-aesthetic business for over 10 years, owned her own Beauty Salon for five years where she employed six staff and trained three apprentice Beauty Therapists through to the completion of their apprenticeships.  

Casey sold her business and relocated to the Gold Coast where she was inspired to follow her passion for training and mentoring, starting her educating path by completing her Cert IV in Training & Assessment.  

Seeing that the Beauty Industry was transforming, Casey wanted to keep up with the industry changes and client’s needs, therefore developing her interest in the Dermal / Laser areas.  She was employed by the Australian Skin Clinic (ASC), Pacific Fair for three years where she progressed her skills from a Beauty Therapist to a Senior Dermal/Laser Technician.  Casey obtained her Open License in Laser Hair Removal, Skin Rejuvenation and Superficial Vascular Lesion, along with being trained in Cryodefine (fat-freezing tehcnology) and LED, due to her proven training skills she was chosen as their Mentor Training Ambassador in clinic. 

Casey has always had a passion for training and mentoring, her warm & friendly personality encourages her students to ask questions and feel comfortable while gaining knowledge in their field of interest.   

Holly Keogh

Customer Service

Holly is the first happy face you will see when you arrive for your training or treatment at the Academy.   

Organised and ready to help, Holly ensures everything is perfect for your visit with the Advanced Skills Academy.  She knows everything that’s going on in the Academy and is our go to girl for student admissions and basically anything and everything customer service related.   

Holly has been a valued part of The Advanced Skills Academy team now for over two years and enjoys helping and providing people with a friendly and inviting service experience every day.  Having worked previously with International Colleges, Holly has found that helping people succeed is what she loves most about her role, as it brings a sense of fulfilment and assists in making a positive difference to clients and students’ lives.
