- Are all courses nationally recognised?
Many of the courses delivered by The Advanced Skills Academy are accredited & nationally recognised and provide students with exciting career prospects, there are also courses that are not accredited but are industry based courses. The professional team at the company work along side leading industry bodies to meet both government standards and industry requirements to deliver courses that are amongst the most interactive,progressive courses available in Australia. In addition, The Advanced Skills Academy deliver nationally recognised courses and workshops to suit the needs of individuals.
- If I have completed an online enrolment application does that mean I am enrolled?
Not yet, but it does mean you are on your way to learning with a difference at TASA.Once our specialised enrolment team review your application, they will then send you a pre-enrolment assessment form to complete to ensure all the required prerequisite are met.Once this step has been satisfied you will receive a formal notification congratulating you on your enrolment and steps on how to pay for your course.This is all completed swiftly by our team. After payment is received you’re ready to begin your learning journey.
- Where do I find the entry requirements fr the course I am interested in?
Each course has specific entry requirements, such as skills, knowledge, qualifications and sometimes experience. These are detailed in the relevant course information brochure.
- When do courses start?
We believe in providing our students with the flexibility to start when they want. All online courses can be started when YOU are ready. Our team is standing by waiting to help.If you are interested in a course that has a practicum at our academy our friendly team will advise you of the next available course. These are typically run bi-monthly . Please note due to our focus on quality training our class sizes are limited to ensure a low student to teacher ratio. Be quick to secure your spot !
- What does 'NRT' mean?
NRT stands for Nationally Recognised Training.Nationally recognised training is developed through the vocational education and training (VET) sector. It provides skills and knowledge to prepare people for work.
- Where can I find the Academy's policies and procedures?
Our Student Handbook has been created to familiarise you with The Advanced Skills Academy’s key policies and procedures and to outline the rights and responsibilities of both the student and the academy.
- What does 'AQF' mean?
The Australian Qualifications Framework is a quality assured national framework of qualifications in the school, Vocational Education and Training (VET) and higher education sectors in Australia.
